COVID-19: Letter to members

The current lockdown is something very few of us will have ever experienced in our lifetimes. The closing down of football only happened during the war years and with the constant stream of football on TV we’ve become used to having it available when we wanted it.

At CUOSC we’ve tried to keep you entertained with “The World Cup of CUFC” which we started on 26th March and ended with the final between Michael Bridges and Peter Murphy on 8th April when Peter Murphy was triumphant.

We are continuing on Monday evening, 13th April, at 20.00 as a Facebook event something we hope you’ll find both challenging and interesting. “Be Just and Quiz On”.

There are those in our society who are trying to cope with an illness, the like of which we have never experienced before, COVID-19. It is difficult to imagine what that must be like and we wish them all the very best that can be offered.

The CUOSC board hope that you, your families and friends are bearing up under the strain of this very different situation that, as a nation and indeed the world, we find ourselves in.

If you need to talk to someone or get in contact by other means we have provided a list below which we hope will help if you need to use it.
