Held online via Zoom, 08.04.2021

Billy reported back on the latest news regarding the aftermath of EWM’s administration and the status of the debt owed to them. More clarity was expected soon when the Holdings board meet. The state of succession at CUFC was also discussed.

Carlisle REUnited has raised about £13,500 and the board discussed ways to extend it into the summer and beyond. A sub-committee was established to take this and other ideas forward.

Nigel Davidson reported on his work to establish an Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Statement of Intent for the CUSG. A document had been put together which was being modified by the constituent groups and would go forward for ratification at the next planned CUSG meeting on April 26. Membership unchanged at 430 and finances remain stable.

Progress on the community project had been hampered by lockdown but it was hoped to step up work now that restrictions were being slowly lifted.
