Face in the Crowd

Be here in spirit

Back the Blues

Carlisle United Football Club and CUOSC have joined up as part of the Carlisle REUnited campaign to put your Face In The Crowd.

With the long-term lockout announced this week, fans won’t be at BP for some time, but you can be there in spirit to show support for the team and help the club.

Fans can have a cut-out of their face, which will be printed and displayed in the ground, for all of the home matches – we hope to have them in place from the Barrow game on Saturday 3 October.

Once the cut-outs are displayed within the stadium we will post images of the display on the club’s official social media channels and on the CUOSC website for you to see.

When fans are back, or the 2020/21 season has been completed, the cut-outs will be collected and safely stored at the stadium.

You can then have them back or donate them to the club. Maybe, one day, your cut-out can be signed by the players, or you can have your photo taken with a player and your cut-out.

The cost is £25 including VAT.

It’s a 4mm Correx sign in the form of upper body cut outs, photography provided by fans via the Data Image dedicated store website. They are durable and strong – perfectly designed to withstand the Cumbrian winter.

To place your order, visit the Face in the Crowd website. Please follow the instructions, upload your chosen photo and we will see you at the match!

The funds raised will from part of the CUOSC campaign and, after supplier costs, will go to the club as part of the Carlisle REUnited fundraising efforts.

Chief executive Nigel Clibbens said: “After a successful trial game with fans against Southend, for fans to be locked out until possibly March is a bitter blow.

“This is a way for supporters to be at our games – in spirit. I know fans miss coming to our games very much and having a face in the crowd means that Covid can’t take that away from us!”

Nigel Davidson from CUOSC said: “The Carlisle REUnited campaign aims to Re-Energise, Re-Focus and Re-Unite the fan base of Carlisle United, whilst helping to raise funds for the club.

“With the devastating news that supporters won’t now be attending games from October, as previously planned, this is a great opportunity to be at Brunton Park in spirit, whilst helping the club with some much needed financial support.”
